3- product benefits:
the red hibiscin (3 % ) which is a vasodilator & can lower high blood pressure but not hypotensive. the sour tastes of hibiscus similar lemon is due to acids as hibiscic, tartaric, citric, malic which alkalinize the blood. it is also rich in flavonoids which have an anti-inflammatory action for internal organs and eczema and due to the presence of large amount of mucilage (15 %) it gives also a sensation of satiety so it is can be considered as a weight reducing agent. it is digestive also a slight diaphoretic agent. it can be taken as a refreshing cold drink or a hot drink to warm the body in winter.
